Meeting Notes -September
Dear member and friend.
Yes, by golly we are having a September meeting. I do apologize for such late notice.I know what you are thinking, "Well, he should be fired, or at least a cut in pay, for such short notice." I understand. I know this revered club office I hold could be taken away from me at a moment's notice. But then again, the meeting is always on the third Wednesday of the month. You knew that.This month we will be at Shorty's. We will meet at 6 p.m. on the 17th.
What about James River Country Club? Weren't we supposed to go there? Yes, but there was a late glitch in the process of the club meeting there. I am thankful that Angie at Shorty's said yes on short notice. For new members - Shorty's is on Merrimac Trail. They do close at 2 p.m. but they open again for us. Please let me know if you will be at the meeting. Easiest way is to respond to this email.

Meeting Notes - August
We had a good meeting at the County grill. Food and service were great.
August Birthdays: Kenny Barger, Dave Rebush, Denny & Sandy Burkey, Mary Belcher, Frank & Terry Sisto,Vicki Scott, Teresa Bingman, Mike Skinner, Judy Sterling and Brent Williams. Happy Birthday to all.
Thanks for all the school supply donations. We dropped them off at the school this morning. They were very appreciative for all the supplies, there were 4carts loaded up. The kids and parents appreciate it very much.
Our club picnic is on Sept. 13t12-4 p.m., at Waller Mill park. The club will provide Burgers and dogs. We ask you bring what you to drink, plus a side or dessert to share. We had a great time last year. Christine has arranged for t shirts to be made up. Let her know if you want one and the size if you haven't already done so. The price is $15 for small and Medium, large and up $18.
On a sadder note, Milt Berube has passed away. His service will be at the Bruton Parish Church on Saturday Sept 6th at 1PM with a reception to follow If some are planning to attend, we can go as a group, let me know and we can arrange a meeting up spot. Keep Mary Ann and the family in your prayers
